Feathers McGraw, the enigmatic and cunning character from the beloved Wallace & Gromit series, is an anthropomorphic penguin who serves as the primary antagonist in the 1993 short film “The Wrong Trousers”.
Despite his lack of dialogue, his intentions and schemes are conveyed through subtle expressions and body language, making him a memorable villain. His most notable “disguise” is hilariously simple: he dons a red rubber glove on his head to masquerade as a chicken.
In the cartoon, Feathers McGraw infiltrates Wallace and Gromit’s home under the guise of a lodger. He manipulates Wallace into building him a pair of robotic trousers, which he then uses to execute a heist at a local museum. His devious plan involves stealing a diamond, and he nearly succeeds, thwarting Gromit’s attempts to expose him. However, his downfall comes when Gromit ingeniously traps him, leading to his eventual capture.
